About Aloula Aviation

Aloula Aviation is seeking a dedicated Accounting Analyst to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is central to supporting the financial operations and strategic objectives of the company.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for preparing comprehensive financial analyses, forecasts, and reports, alongside developing supportive and interpretative data for the Department. This position provides essential financial and accounting analytical and technical support to staff and line divisions, aiding in the resolution of complex accounting or financial issues. The role also involves participation in the development, recommendation, and implementation of changes to accounting policies, internal procedures, and their system integration. Furthermore, the analyst may be required to lead clerical and technical accounting staff, or manage 24/7 shift staff involved in ship/shore analyses, ship release, shipping documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and provide recommendations on the feasibility of accounting information system proposals, ensuring alignment with user requirements and accounting policy.
Develop and support the internal control framework, ensuring adequate controls are in place for all material risks.
Assist in researching applicable accounting literature to establish new policies, update existing ones, or address current issues in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Develop and revise instructions for Accounting and General Instruction Manuals, interpreting their application for operations organizations.
Assist in financial modeling, investment/divestiture analysis, asset valuations, financial due diligence, and entity setup activities.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts on cash receipts & disbursements, corporate income, operating and capital plans & expenditures, manpower budgets, investments, and the consolidated financial position.
Prepare tax and transfer pricing calculations.
Review Affiliates related cash calls and provide support to proponents during the setup and design of funding procedures.
Analyze the financial feasibility and impact of proposed financial transactions, including hydrocarbon production, sales and purchases, and employee and vendor disbursements, in accordance with company policy and guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis. In addition, applicants must demonstrate:

Well-developed knowledge of accounting policies and procedures established pursuant to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Well-developed understanding of financial statement content prepared within the IFRS framework.
Well-developed knowledge of Saudi Aramco Accounting and General Instructions (GI).

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern region. The role requires a commitment to supporting Aloula Aviation's financial operations effectively.
