Associate Production Specialist

About the Role

Ecolab, a global leader in cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services, is seeking an Associate Production Specialist. This full-time position is based in Dammam and involves comprehensive responsibilities within the production department, focusing on operational tasks from preparation to packaging. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review preparing (mixing), filling, and packaging instructions at the start of line runs.
• Ensure the availability of correct raw and packaging materials.
• Verify the availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures.
• Confirm correct line setup according to preparation, filling, and packaging instructions.
• Operate preparation (mixing), filling, and packaging equipment, including fillers, sleeve labelers, pumps, filters, mixers, forklifts, cappers, and other related machinery.
• Adjust equipment to control weight, closures, and other specifications.
• Perform all line operations, such as loading empty containers, labeling, mixing, filling, capping, bar coder generation, and taking samples.
• Actively participate in Kaizens, 5S, TPM, Loss Analysis, and special projects.
• Identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination.
• Complete and document quality and productivity activities, including weight measurements and basic quality tests.
• Follow and adhere to Safety, quality, and production-related Work Instructions, Memos, and SOPs.
• Report and act on Safety and quality observations, machine performance, and defects.
• Complete packaging, preparing (mixing), and filling assignments to meet or exceed standards.
• Assist with line changeovers, including wash water collection.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a chemical plant or warehouse.
• Basic English language, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals.
• Forklift driving proficiency.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting/carrying 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to complete training and master required skills, including Hazardous Material Safety and DOT training.
• Ability to understand and track safety, quality, and productivity data (*, run rates, fill weights).
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with Reaction chemistry.
• Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) and Continuous Improvement Systems.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a team-oriented approach.
