Overview of the Role

The Practice Centre is seeking a Cluster Financial Controller to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position operates at a level close to that of a Chief Financial Officer, focusing on financial control, reporting, governance, compliance, cash flow management, business performance, and finance leadership across the cluster. The Cluster Financial Controller will collaborate closely with business leaders while ensuring adherence to Group policies, systems, delegated authorities, and finance standards. This role reports directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO).

Scope and Key Relationships

This role encompasses financial leadership across seven operating companies in Saudi Arabia, managing approximately US$150 million in annual revenue and overseeing around 1,200 employees. The portfolio covers multiple sectors including logistics, industrial services, trading, crane hire, equipment rental, and water services, operating within an SAP-enabled finance and reporting environment. Key working relationships include the Cluster Executive Director (ED), General Managers and Business Unit Heads (GMs), Finance Managers (FMs), Group Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Internal Audit, onshore finance teams, and the offshore shared services team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function across all cluster companies.
• Act as the principal finance advisor to the Executive Director, Group Chief Financial Officer, and business leaders.
• Provide clear financial insight on performance, profitability, risk, cash flow, and business priorities.
• Support commercial decisions, bids, tenders, pricing, investment cases, and operational improvement plans.
• Challenge business assumptions and ensure decisions are financially sound and aligned with Group governance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess over 15-20 years of relevant experience in financial control and leadership. The position offers a salary range of SAR 37,500 - SAR 56,250.
