Role Overview

Alfanar Projects is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team in Dammam, East Region. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience. The primary purpose of this role is to plan, organize, and control electrical activities within projects, ensuring successful completion in accordance with established schedules, budgets, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policies set by the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project electrical documents including methodology, quality assurance, control procedures, engineering, and construction schedules.
• Prepare and review technical submittals such as designs, specifications, drawings, calculations, method statements, TPIs, and risk assessments for compliance with client, authority, and end-user requirements, as well as local and international standards.
• Oversee and inspect site installation work daily, witness tests, identify non-compliance with construction documentation, and recommend corrective measures.
• Coordinate daily with the Team Leader and other team members to verify, document, and report quality issues of work performed by subcontractors, and suggest corrective actions.
• Ensure all construction activities at the site proceed effectively and review progress.
• Conduct technical meetings and maintain constant follow-up with Client Design and Engineering Divisions.
• Maintain quality standards for all electrical activities as per the project quality plan.

Leadership and Operational Accountabilities

• Train subordinates and build a cohesive team to ensure effective work execution.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates across all aspects of their work.
• Delegate assignments effectively among subordinates.
• Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation among subordinates.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources efficiently to achieve objectives within cost and time constraints.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve any related problems that arise and escalate complex operational issues as needed.
• Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
• Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to review and prepare technical documentation.
• Knowledge of international standards and client requirements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, within the East Region. The role involves working within a project-based environment, coordinating with various teams and subcontractors to ensure project success.
