About the Role

Samaa Technologies Co ltd is seeking an HSE Officer to join their team in Dammam. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience, focused on ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance within the oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety training programs for employees, ensuring all staff possess the necessary knowledge and skills for safe and efficient task performance.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences, and collaborating with management to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement to enhance workplace safety standards.
• Assist in the development of emergency response plans, conducting drills and simulations to ensure preparedness for potential incidents and minimize risks to personnel and operations.
• Act as a liaison between management and employees regarding safety concerns, facilitating open communication to foster a culture of safety and accountability within the organization.
• Ensure proper documentation of safety-related activities, maintaining records of training sessions, inspections, and incident reports for compliance and audit purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to health, safety, and environmental management, integrating this knowledge into the company's safety programs.
• Participate in safety committees and initiatives, promoting a proactive approach to safety and engaging employees in safety discussions and activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant HSE role, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Demonstrated understanding of local and international safety regulations.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs.
• Experience in incident investigation and reporting.
