Optical Technician

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking an Optical Technician to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience and involves supporting customer needs, managing sales, and assisting with technical optical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate optical products, including frames, lenses, contact lenses, and sunglasses.
• Drive sales conversion, upselling, cross-selling, and execute promotions to achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Deliver a professional and engaging customer experience, handling inquiries and basic complaints effectively to build relationships and loyalty.
• Accurately read and understand prescriptions, supporting basic fitting, adjustments, and product selection.
• Assist opticians with technical requirements, checking prescription, fitting, and product specifications to ensure accuracy and resolve issues before handover.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and support insurance approvals and documentation.
• Maintain stock accuracy, handle products properly, and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Contribute to a positive work environment, collaborate with the team to achieve store targets, and support opticians and sales staff during peak periods.
• Maintain product knowledge across all categories and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, safety, and operational standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from a technical institute of optics.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Language: Excellent command of both oral and written English and Arabic.
• Licenses / Certifications: Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).

Required Skills and Abilities
