The Role of Project Director - Healthcare / Hospitals

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Director - Healthcare / Hospitals to lead a significant healthcare project in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, senior leadership position involves overseeing complex, multi-faceted projects from initial conception through to successful completion. The Project Director will be responsible for driving organizational excellence, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all project phases, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring delivery within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives and healthcare sector best practices.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams and stakeholders, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and financial reporting with precision and transparency.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and local Saudi Arabia requirements throughout all project phases.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and achievements to senior leadership and key stakeholders through clear, professional reporting.
• Implement process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance project delivery and organizational performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Establish and maintain project documentation, quality standards, and best practice frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 20 years of project management expertise, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership capacity.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering healthcare and hospital projects, particularly within the region, is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee complex, multi-faceted projects from conception to completion.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
