About the Role

Virtucruit is collaborating with a prominent mining company in Saudi Arabia to recruit an RC Driller for their Drilling Department. This full-time position is based in Dammam and involves operating Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling rigs to support exploration and drilling activities within mining operations. The RC Driller will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate drilling while maintaining equipment performance and quality sample collection.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will contribute to exploration and resource development projects by executing drilling operations according to project specifications. This role requires a professional who can manage drilling parameters, ensure precise sample collection, and adhere to strict safety and operational compliance standards in a dynamic mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate RC drilling rigs and associated equipment effectively.
Conduct drilling activities in line with project specifications and operational plans.
Monitor drilling parameters and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
Ensure accurate sample collection and proper handling procedures are followed.
Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on drilling equipment.
Identify and report any mechanical or operational issues promptly.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment repairs and servicing.
Ensure all drilling activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain safe working practices at all times on site.
Adhere to site operational procedures and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in drilling operations, specifically with Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling rigs. A strong understanding of drilling parameters, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols in a mining context is essential for this role.

Work Environment

This position is a full-time role within a leading mining company, offering an opportunity to contribute to significant exploration and resource development projects. The work will be conducted in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, as part of the Drilling Department.
