About the Refrigeration Engineer Role

Al Toga is seeking a dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position involves the comprehensive management and maintenance of our critical refrigeration infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across our facilities.

Role Purpose

The Refrigeration Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining product quality, upholding food safety standards, and ensuring uninterrupted cold chain operations. This includes overseeing industrial chillers, cold store rooms, refrigerators, and blast freezers within our production and storage environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial chillers, freezer rooms, and blast freezer systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration units, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
• Monitor and maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels across all cold storage areas to preserve product quality.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related faults efficiently.
• Manage refrigerant handling, recovery, and recharging in strict accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports for all refrigeration equipment.
• Coordinate effectively with production and warehouse teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal operational disruption.
• Manage relationships with external service providers and spare parts suppliers to ensure timely support.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and implement solutions to minimize downtime.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of professional experience as a Refrigeration Engineer or in a similar capacity involving the maintenance and management of industrial refrigeration systems.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to manage and maintain refrigeration infrastructure across our production and storage facilities.
