The Role of Industrial Refrigeration Engineer

Almarai is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the continuous and safe operation of all divisional industrial large-scale ammonia, Freon, and glycol equipment. The primary objective is to maintain system reliability, prevent product loss due to refrigeration issues, and ensure uninterrupted, trouble-free, and safe operation of all units.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of Ammonia, Freon, and Glycol systems in accordance with established best practices, requirements, and guidelines.
• Monitor and accurately record all operating parameters and relevant information within the designated area of responsibility.
• Prepare and submit consistent reports, providing management with informed advice on necessary maintenance actions.
• Ensure that all logbooks are maintained completely and accurately.

Qualifications and Experience

• A graduate with a 2-3 years technical college certificate.
• A certificate in large-scale industrial Ammonia and Freon systems is preferred, with a preference for SABRO certification.
• 4-6 years of practical experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial large-scale ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Industrial Refrigeration, control systems, electrical systems, and computer controls.

Location and Employment Details

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
