The Role: Sales Account Manager

Brkz is seeking a Sales Account Manager - Imported Building Material to join its full-time team in Dammam. This role specializes in the sale of imported building materials, which typically involve extended lead times. The ideal candidate will manage client expectations regarding shipping durations and advance payment terms, ensuring proactive client relationship development and timely material delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and building materials industry.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Educate clients on the benefits of imported materials, lead times, and logistical considerations.
• Coordinate with Procurement and logistics teams to provide accurate shipment tracking and updates.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, product specifications, and samples to potential customers.
• Negotiate pricing and advance payment terms while ensuring profitability and market competitiveness.
• Work closely with the procurement team to forecast demand and manage stock levels effectively.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and pricing fluctuations.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and order-related issues efficiently.
• Prepare feedback and reports of customer visits and sales funnel, and present market insights.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience in building materials, construction supplies, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of import logistics, customs clearance, and supply chain management.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, negotiation, and relationship management.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Ability to handle long lead times and manage customer expectations accordingly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or equivalent Google Workspace Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and CRM software.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as required.
