Technical Sales Engineer Electrical & Chemical

About the Role

Galaxy Enterprises Services Co. is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer – Electrical & Chemical to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on technical sales and business development within industrial sectors. The position offers a salary range of SAR 7,500 - SAR 11,250.

Role Overview

The Technical Sales Engineer will leverage a strong background in Electrical or Chemical Engineering to drive sales and identify new business opportunities. The role involves understanding customer technical requirements, proposing suitable solutions, and managing the sales process from inquiry to order completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales or industrial products, particularly within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, Industrial, and Construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Identify new business opportunities across various industrial sectors.
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations and proposals.
• Review RFQs, specifications, datasheets, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical and commercial offers.
• Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and customer requirements.
• Conduct customer visits and technical discussions as needed.
• Support the Business Development team in achieving sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
• Ensure proper follow-up with customers from initial inquiry through order completion.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience: 3–7 years of relevant experience in technical sales, business development, or industrial products.
• Sector Experience: Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, or Industrial sectors is highly preferred.
• Product Knowledge: Good understanding of electrical, chemical, industrial, or MRO products.

Required Skills

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and translate customer requirements into suitable solutions.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role requires willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia as needed to meet business objectives and customer requirements.
