About the Role

JAL | جال is seeking a dedicated Transportation Coordinator to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position involves overseeing daily transportation operations to ensure efficiency and compliance within our logistics framework. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the coordination of drivers, vehicles, and transportation requests.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to support overall operational efficiency by ensuring seamless transportation activities. The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining adherence to company policies and safety standards across all operations, contributing to a well-organized and secure transportation system.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily transportation operations effectively.
Schedule and monitor drivers and vehicles to optimize routes and assignments.
Coordinate transportation requests efficiently with various internal departments.
Maintain accurate transportation records and prepare comprehensive reports.
Follow up on vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure overall fleet readiness.
Resolve transportation-related issues and challenges promptly.
Ensure strict compliance with all company policies and relevant safety regulations.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in transportation coordination or a related operational role. This experience should demonstrate a proven ability to manage logistics, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance within a dynamic environment.
