At ABB, we are dedicated to enabling industries to operate more efficiently and sustainably. We are seeking a full-time Account Manager EPC & COG to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to our mission, focusing on driving growth and ensuring customer satisfaction within key accounts.

Role Summary

The Account Manager EPC & COG is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive account strategies. This includes focusing on increasing share of wallet, enhancing profitability, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role involves coordinating sales activities, monitoring ongoing projects, and managing the resolution of specific customer issues. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales of power distribution products and systems within the designated Middle East & Africa market, aligning with ABB's Key Account strategy.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and provide solutions tailored to Chinese EPC overseas requirements.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities, with a particular focus on Medium Voltage (MV) products and solutions.
  • Plan and implement sales strategies and business development initiatives targeting key EPC accounts.
  • Develop ABB key account plans for critical segments in Middle East countries, including Utility, Renewable, and COG.
  • Achieve sales targets efficiently for both MV products and solutions.
  • Develop business opportunities with Chinese EPC companies to meet sales budgets for MV products and solutions.
  • Support export sales processes, including RFQ and PO handling from local countries to ELDS China, and provide market feedback to LPL.
  • Collaborate closely with both ABB China and ABB MEA teams.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand and address customer needs.
  • Promote ABB's full range of MV product and solution offers, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Lead the team in identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities within the designated region.
  • Identify power distribution sales opportunities and actively promote MV solutions to customers.
  • Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, skilled, and directed.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop project teams across different countries in adherence to sales policies.
  • Drive and ensure effective know-how sharing and cross-collaboration within the team and across regions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 8 years of sales experience within the power distribution and automation industries.
  • Overseas working experience or direct experience with EPC customers is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong sales competency in power distribution, coupled with capability and know-how in the Utility and Oil & Gas segments.
