About the Account Manager Role at Aon

Aon is seeking a full-time Account Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and insurers, focusing on managing client accounts and delivering tailored insurance solutions. The Account Manager is responsible for assessing insurance needs, negotiating with insurers, and ensuring service excellence in every client interaction. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for inquiries, claims, policy renewals, and day-to-day servicing.
• Analyze client risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance products, collaborating with insurance companies to negotiate competitive quotes and coverage terms.
• Prepare and present proposals, organize policy placements, and manage renewal processes.
• Prepare reports, maintain accurate client records, and ensure proper policy documentation.
• Handle premium collection, invoicing, and resolve account discrepancies.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, participating in marketing initiatives, client meetings, and events.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a relevant field.
• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant role within the insurance industry.
• Good understanding of the insurance market and the Insurance Authority (IA) regulatory landscape.

Essential Skills

• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.

Regulatory Compliance and Local Context

The Account Manager must ensure all activities comply with Insurance Authority (IA) regulations and guidelines for insurance brokers in Saudi Arabia. This includes maintaining proper documentation and staying updated on regulatory changes. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Saudi Arabia and will be required to comply with all local labor laws and regulations.
