Jazeera Paints is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining robust financial oversight and ensuring operational efficiency within an assigned region.

Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for exercising comprehensive control over financial operations within a designated region. This involves continuous monitoring, evaluation, and enhancement of financial procedures and policies to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards across all financial activities.

Core Responsibilities

• Exercise comprehensive control over the financial operations of the assigned region.
• Monitor, evaluate, and enhance existing financial procedures and policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for the region, ensuring the integrity of all financial data.
• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards.

Financial Control and Analysis

• Conduct monthly stock inventory checks in assigned branches and warehouses within the region.
• Prepare detailed reports highlighting discrepancies, ensuring transparency and accuracy in inventory records.
• Perform daily closing procedures for assigned branches, reconciling sales and cash transactions.
• Analyze intermediate accounts such as customer deposits and advance payments, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.
• Monitor and control regional expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Provide insightful analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall financial efficiency.

Operational Compliance and Support

• Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation, data, and analytical support to auditors.
• Collaborate closely with the audit team to ensure a smooth audit process.
• Execute activities related to the function using safe and environmentally sound methods.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.
