Accountant

About the Role

Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya is seeking a Chief Accountant to join its Finance Department in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on ensuring high standards of accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity within the hotel's operations. The Chief Accountant will support the department by overseeing daily accounting functions and contributing to financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), payroll, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, local regulations, and Hyatt standards.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analysis for management review.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Support department heads with financial insights to improve operational performance.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure proper documentation of financial processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in hotel accounting.
• Strong English communication skills.
