About the Role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our project team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing the contract lifecycle for construction and EPC projects, ensuring compliance with terms, and safeguarding commercial interests. The position requires practical experience in drafting correspondence, managing variations, assessing Extensions of Time (EOTs), and compiling claims.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Contract Administrator will coordinate closely with project managers, procurement teams, and clients to support successful project delivery. This role is central to managing contractual obligations and mitigating commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Assist in identifying, drafting, and managing commercial claims and counter-claims, including compiling supporting documentation for dispute resolution.
  • Evaluate scope changes and site instructions, quantifying financial and time impacts, preparing variation packages, and tracking approvals.
  • Collaborate with planning engineers to review delay analyses and draft robust Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
  • Draft clear subcontractor agreements, bespoke amendments, work orders, and formal commercial letters to clients and vendors.
  • Review contract documents, particularly FIDIC or bespoke formats, to identify potential commercial risks and liabilities.
  • Administer subcontract agreements, monitor progress, evaluate payment applications, and manage back-charges.
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with project procedures and client requirements, overseeing final accounts and the contract close-out process.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in contract administration within the construction or EPC sectors.

  • 5-10 years of experience in contract administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing contract lifecycles on construction and EPC projects.
  • Proven ability to draft correspondence, manage variations, assess EOTs, and compile claims.
  • Familiarity with contract documents, including FIDIC or similar bespoke formats.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working as part of a dedicated project team.
