Aircraft Technician MRO / Safety Equipment

About the Role

Careernet is seeking an experienced Aircraft Technician MRO / Safety Equipment to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on the inspection, testing, servicing, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of aircraft emergency and safety equipment. The position requires hands-on experience within an aviation MRO, aircraft component workshop, safety equipment shop, oxygen shop, or high-pressure cylinder shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, servicing, repair, testing, and overhaul of aircraft safety and emergency equipment.
• Carry out maintenance and repair activities on aircraft evacuation slides and slide/raft systems, including folding, packing, and deployment procedures in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
• Inspect and service aircraft oxygen cylinders/bottles and associated components.
• Perform inspection, pressure testing, servicing, charging/refilling, and requalification of high-pressure cylinders.
• Work with oxygen systems, oxygen bottles, regulators, valves, and associated equipment.
• Carry out inspection and servicing of aircraft fire extinguishers and related safety equipment, where applicable.
• Identify defects and perform repairs/rectification in accordance with approved technical documentation.
• Conduct functional and operational testing following repair or overhaul.
• Prepare accurate inspection findings, repair records, and maintenance documentation.
• Follow OEM manuals, CMMs, AMMs, service bulletins, and approved maintenance procedures.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable MRO quality and aviation regulatory requirements.
• Follow strict safety procedures while handling oxygen, high-pressure cylinders, and other hazardous materials.
• Coordinate with Quality/Inspection teams for release and certification of completed work.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-12 years of experience in a relevant aviation MRO, aircraft component workshop, safety equipment shop, oxygen shop, or high-pressure cylinder shop.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with aircraft emergency and safety equipment, particularly evacuation slides/rafts, oxygen cylinders, and high-pressure systems.
