Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in Global Studies

About the Role

KFUPM Business School's Department of Global Studies is seeking full-time faculty members for positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor ranks. These roles are based in Riyadh and Dhahran and involve contributing to the department's academic mission across various specializations within global studies.

Areas of Specialization

The department is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the following fields:

• International Law
• Public and Energy Policy
• Nonprofit Studies
• Leadership
• History
• Sociology
• Psychology

Key Responsibilities

Faculty members will be responsible for a range of academic duties, including:

• Delivering high-quality teaching to students
• Conducting and publishing research in their field of expertise
• Providing academic advising to students
• Performing administrative duties as assigned by the department
• Undertaking other academic tasks as required

Required Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• An earned ** in a relevant field from a reputable university.
• Full-time bachelor's and master's degrees with very good grades.
• Affiliation with prestigious, top-ranked global universities listed in the QS World University Rankings.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in both research and teaching.
• Applicants with Middle East-related expertise or experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
• Certificate equivalency is required for qualifications obtained outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Work Environment and Expectations

The medium of instruction at KFUPM is English. Faculty members are expected to maintain a professional availability of approximately 35–40 hours per week to fulfill their teaching, research, and administrative duties effectively.
