Assistant IT Manager at Hilton, Riyadh

Hilton is seeking a qualified Assistant IT Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to maintaining the technological infrastructure that supports both hotel operations and guest experiences across multiple sites.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Assistant IT Manager will supervise the IT Department, ensuring the timely and budget-compliant delivery of high-quality IT systems for the hotel and its guests. All departmental efforts must align with established IT Operating Standards to provide consistent and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for IT systems, including business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the hotel.
• Ensure consistently strong operational support for all internal hotel IT systems and users, aiming to minimize system outages.
• Supervise the IT Department on a daily basis.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge and apply it to deliver full system benefits.
• Understand, fully, the legal requirements pertaining to IT governance and security.
• Efficiently and completely handle IT issues as they arise.
• Identify current and future system needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Build strong internal working relationships with all hotel departments.

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous IT management experience, preferably within the hotel, leisure, or service sector.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft systems.
• Experience with hotel applications such as Fidelio and Micros is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Current technical skills and knowledge of technology.
• General understanding of IT infrastructure trends and technologies, including networks, databases, business applications, and development methodology.
• Ability to plan proactively and develop contingency plans when necessary.
