The Role: Associate - Information Technology

The Associate - Information Technology is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focused on delivering high-quality IT support and exceptional customer care. This role is responsible for receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving IT requests from clients in a timely manner, operating within a busy helpdesk environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support to all business units for IT-related requests.
• Offer hotline support during non-office hours, holidays, and weekends when required.
• Deliver comprehensive support for all IT products and services, including answering user questions and troubleshooting technical problems.
• Coordinate, test, and review requests for changes identified by MAF Retail staff.
• Maintain accurate records by updating tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities and closing tickets upon job completion with detailed resolution notes.
• Verify the effectiveness of suggested solutions in resolving user problems through verbal or email follow-up.
• Support the implementation of action plans designed to enhance the productivity, performance, and overall effectiveness of operations.
• Report any actions or incidents that may interfere with the proper functioning of the company's systems or operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• 0-1 years of professional experience in an IT support or related role.

Work Environment and Expectations

This full-time position requires a proactive approach to IT support, working within a dynamic helpdesk environment in Riyadh. The role involves direct communication with users via telephone and other channels, necessitating strong customer service skills and a commitment to timely problem resolution.
