Assurance External Audit Manager / Senior Manager (FS)

About the Role

PwC Middle East is seeking an Assurance - External Audit - Manager / Senior Manager (FS) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves managing the full cycle of audit assignments for a client portfolio within Financial Services.

Role Overview

The Audit Senior Manager will lead audit engagements, working with a team to address complex business issues from strategy to execution. The role involves significant client interaction, technical problem-solving, and team development, ensuring adherence to professional standards and firm vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively assist in managing a client portfolio, including day-to-day client liaison and technical issue resolution.
• Lead business development activities to identify opportunities with new and existing clients, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Develop strategies for complex technical challenges and contribute to the technical acumen of the team.
• Assist in managing and delivering large projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Design the audit strategy and manage audit execution in alignment with engagement leader guidance.
• Advise clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments, staying updated through internal and external seminars.
• Manage client relations with senior management, including delivering presentations to boards of directors and audit committees.
• Ensure compliance with risk, quality, and independence matters.
• Stay informed on local and national business and economic issues.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members, while supporting their well-being.
• Encourage involvement in digital initiatives and the use of audit transformation technologies and alternative delivery models.
• Participate in the recruitment process for interviewing and selecting candidates according to PwC hiring standards.
