About the Automation Operation & Maintenance Technician Role

CJ Logistics KSA – SILZ, a key logistics provider in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a skilled Automation Operation & Maintenance Technician. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the seamless functionality of our advanced warehouse automation systems, primarily focusing on conveyor systems, within a dynamic live production environment. The role demands a hands-on approach to maintain operational efficiency and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily hands-on inspections of automation and conveyor systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and execute minor corrective repairs.
• Undertake first-level troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC issues.
• Execute parts replacement and ensure equipment restart following maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance reporting and ensure strict adherence to safety compliance protocols, including LOTO and 5S principles.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a technical diploma or equivalent hands-on experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Working knowledge of English for technical documentation and troubleshooting purposes.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with conveyor systems.
• Basic PLC awareness, including monitoring and fault identification.

Work Environment and Availability

This role operates within a live production environment, requiring a proactive and responsive approach to system operation and maintenance. Candidates must be available for immediate joining.
