About the Role

SGS - Saudi Ground Services is seeking an Aviation Security Agent to join its Security Department. This full-time position is based in Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on maintaining a safe and secure environment for passengers, aircraft, airport facilities, and air cargo. The role requires 0-1 years of experience and a valid NPO Certificate.

Role Purpose

The Aviation Security Agent is responsible for implementing security protocols and procedures to safeguard all aspects of aviation operations. This includes screening, access control, and incident response, ensuring compliance with aviation security and ethical standards while delivering professional passenger service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform security screening of passengers and cabin baggage at Security Restricted Area access points.
• Conduct secondary screening and physical searches in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and passenger dignity standards.
• Screen checked baggage, cargo, mail, and catering supplies using approved security systems and procedures.
• Handle, isolate, and document suspect items, coordinating with airlines, cargo agents, and airport police as required.
• Control and monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and enforcing access control procedures.
• Support aircraft security searches and ensure aircraft protection during ground handling and overnight parking.
• Conduct airside patrols and monitor boarding gates to prevent unauthorized access or interference with aircraft.
• Respond to aviation security incidents in accordance with emergency and contingency plans.
• Maintain accurate security documentation and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Support regulatory audits, inspections, mandatory training, security exercises, and drills.
• Deliver professional and culturally sensitive passenger service while maintaining aviation security and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Possession of a valid NPO Certificate is required.

Work Location

This position is available in Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
