Role Summary

The Banquet Manager will oversee and lead the Banquet department, ensuring the smooth operation of events as defined by contracts and operational requirements. This full-time role in Riyadh requires 5-10 years of experience and involves managing daily operations, maintaining equipment, and coordinating staff to deliver high-quality cuisine and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the Hotel's Banquet department.
• Ensure the smooth operation of specific events according to contract and operational needs.
• Manage the daily operation and maintenance of banquet Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) and Operating Supplies & Equipment (OSE).
• Organize storage areas and ensure cleanliness within the banquet department.
• Coordinate all aspects of cuisine and entertainment delivery to guests.
• Control and coordinate a diverse labor pool, including casual staff, requiring strong staff management skills.
• Uphold Mövenpick service standards and manage daily in-house and Off-site Catering (ODC) events.

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

• Strong staff management skills, particularly with casual labor.

Operational Compliance

The Banquet Manager must ensure daily checks of casual staff grooming standards and verify Ajeer permits and iqamas. Non-compliance with permit requirements will result in immediate dismissal of the concerned casual staff.
