Havelock One Interiors, established in 1998, is a leading turnkey fit-out service provider in the Middle East. The company specializes in interior contracting, bespoke joinery, metalworks, and sophisticated shop fittings. As a result of expansion in Saudi Arabia, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Riyadh for a full-time position.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will focus on developing new client relationships and enhancing existing ones. This role involves understanding client development strategies and positioning Havelock One Interiors' capabilities for future projects. A key aspect is establishing a robust network with designers and consultants to build a pipeline of new business, with a strategic emphasis on commercial office fit-out opportunities across Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for potential new clients and convert these opportunities into increased business.
• Develop marketing strategies and communications, investigate new markets, and oversee marketing and account strategy.
• Research and build relationships with new clients and identify new projects in selective sectors.
• Utilize internal and external tools to compile a project opportunity pipeline and establish action plans based on agreed targets.
• Collaborate with the projects team to develop proposals tailored to client needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Arrange meetings between client decision-makers and company Directors/Principals.
• Address objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and negotiating towards positive conclusions.
• Build and enhance new client relationships, and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
• Attend industry functions, association events, and conferences.
• Provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
• Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company's people, capabilities, goals, and purpose to enhance performance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of the market, the company's solutions and services, and its competitive advantages. This role requires strategic planning capabilities and an established relationship network. Given projects span across Saudi Arabia, flexibility and adaptability are essential qualities for success in this key growth market.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• 10-15 years of experience in business development, preferably within the fit-out or interior contracting industry.
