About the Role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Captain (Dry) to join their team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing service operations within banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks, ensuring high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate service needs effectively to chefs and stewards during functions.
Calculate total charges for group functions and present checks to group contacts for payment.
Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee break areas are prepared for service.
Verify that proper centerpieces are displayed on all tables.
Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver before use.
Engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction with the service.
Set tables in accordance with event type and service standards.
Relay additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.

Operational Standards and Compliance

Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
Complete all required safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Communicate professionally and clearly, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Team Collaboration and Physical Requirements

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
