About the Role

Procapita Group is seeking an experienced Category Manager Food Service (HORECA) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves implementing and optimizing category strategies within the Food Service (HORECA) business to drive growth, profitability, and market share. The Category Manager will be responsible for executing the category strategy for their assigned product category, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing pricing and product portfolio development.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement category strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and market share targets.
• Manage a balanced and profitable product portfolio, introducing new products based on market demand.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and promotional support.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Partner with Sales teams to provide product training, define positioning, and enhance penetration within the HORECA sector.
• Collaborate with Marketing on promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Implement pricing strategies and conduct thorough margin and profitability analysis.
• Work with Supply Chain and Market Planning to optimize inventory levels and improve demand forecasting accuracy.
• Conduct market research and prepare comprehensive category performance reports and insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

This role requires significant cross-functional collaboration. The Category Manager will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure all activities are aligned with company objectives set by the Head of Categories. This includes coordinating efforts to achieve strategic goals and optimize operational efficiency across departments.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in category management, specifically within the Food Service (HORECA) sector.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on the Food Service industry.
