HCP Automotive, a well-established Saudi automotive dealer group with a strong market presence and a portfolio of leading brands, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Ar Riyad, and reports directly to the Group CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into measurable performance across the business.

Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer will lead operations across a substantial, multi-brand organization. The primary mandate is to strengthen operating discipline, improve decision-making processes, and establish the necessary standards and management capabilities to deliver sustained performance. This involves ensuring strategic priorities are clearly defined, decisions are executed effectively, and accountability is embedded throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational activities across a multi-brand automotive organization.
• Translate strategic priorities into disciplined, measurable performance outcomes.
• Ensure clear definition of strategic priorities and effective execution of decisions.
• Embed accountability throughout the business structure.
• Establish and refine processes, standards, and management capabilities to drive sustained performance.
• Utilize financial and operational data to identify opportunities, challenge performance, and respond to market changes.
• Leverage digital platforms, data, automation, and artificial intelligence to generate commercial value across sales, stock management, customer experience, control, and productivity.
• Develop capable managers, retain strong performers, and address underperformance consistently.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering results within complex, multi-site organizations.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and sound judgment.
• Ability to lead senior teams and influence manufacturer partners and other stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of automotive retail and aftersales economics, including drivers of revenue, margin, productivity, cost, and profitability.
• Proficiency in using financial and operational data for decision-making and performance analysis.
• Understanding of how technology, including digital platforms, data, automation, and AI, can create commercial value.
• Proven leadership skills in creating clarity, setting high standards, and fostering accountability.
