About the Role

DAR AL OMRAN is seeking a Civil Inspector to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring that civil and infrastructure works are executed in strict accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable standards, and quality requirements. The selected candidate will play a key role in monitoring site activities, inspecting civil works, and maintaining quality compliance for mixed-use development projects, working closely with contractors, consultants, and project teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of civil works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project standards.
• Monitor construction activities and verify that works are executed in accordance with approved materials, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Inspect concrete, structural, earthworks, roads, paving, drainage, utilities, and other civil works as applicable to the project.
• Review materials, workmanship, installation methods, and construction processes to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformance issues, ensuring corrective actions are properly implemented.

Technical Compliance and Quality Control

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Attend inspections and testing activities, verifying compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Review and verify relevant shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests as required.
• Ensure that civil works comply with applicable Saudi Arabian codes, standards, project specifications, and authority requirements.
• Support the implementation of project quality assurance and quality control procedures.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare daily inspection reports, site observations, and other quality-related documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, observations, and non-conformance reports.

Project Coordination and Support

• Monitor construction progress and coordinate with the project team to support timely project delivery.
• Perform any other duties related to civil inspection and site supervision as assigned by the Project Manager or relevant management.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in civil construction inspection activities. A strong understanding of civil and infrastructure works, coupled with the ability to ensure quality and compliance, is essential for this role.
