About the Role

Omrania is seeking a Civil/Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves conducting thorough inspections of civil and structural components across various construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure strict compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and project specifications, contributing significantly to quality assurance and project integrity.

Role Purpose and Contribution

As a Civil/Structural Inspector, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the quality and safety of construction projects. Your meticulous approach to documentation and professional reporting will be essential in identifying and addressing potential issues, thereby protecting project integrity and ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive structural and civil inspections at all project stages, including foundation, framing, concrete placement, and finishing work.
• Verify compliance with Saudi building codes, international standards, and specific project requirements.
• Document inspection findings through detailed reports, photographs, and field notes, utilizing both traditional and digital methods.
• Identify deficiencies, non-conformances, and safety hazards, and effectively communicate these findings to project management and contractors.
• Analyze structural components and construction materials to assess their quality and workmanship.
• Prepare clear, organized inspection reports and maintain accurate records for comprehensive project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to resolve construction issues and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor safety protocols and procedures on job sites to ensure full compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate and verify material testing as required by project specifications.
• Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders regarding inspection status and overall project progress.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil and structural inspection roles.
• Demonstrated understanding of building codes, safety standards, and construction project specifications.
