About the Role

MAGNOOS Information Systems is seeking a Cloudera Administrator to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is dedicated to managing and maintaining the critical underlying systems and infrastructure that support the organization's data management and analytics solutions.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Cloudera Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the data platform remains stable, secure, and performs optimally. This role is central to maintaining a robust and reliable environment that supports the organization's data-driven initiatives and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the various components of the Cloudera platform.
• Manage and monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement resolutions.
• Implement security measures to protect the platform and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage and maintain the platform's storage and backup systems.
• Ensure the platform's resiliency, availability, and recovery capabilities.
• Automate and script platform-related tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Manage and maintain the platform's network infrastructure and monitoring/logging systems.
• Collaborate with other teams, including Development and Operations, to ensure the platform meets overall organizational goals and objectives.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance platform performance and scalability on an ongoing basis.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform installation, upgrades, and testing procedures.
• Develop and maintain documentation for the platform’s low- and high-level design, architecture, and other operational aspects.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for the Cloudera Administrator position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in managing and maintaining Cloudera environments or similar distributed data platforms.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring a dedicated presence to manage critical infrastructure and collaborate with local teams.
