The Role of Commis Chef

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Commis Chef to join its culinary team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in a kitchen environment. The Commis Chef will contribute to food planning, preparation, and production, ensuring all activities align with Plaza Premium Group's established standards within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in food planning, preparation, and production activities.
Follow and implement instructions provided by the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team.
Ensure food presentation, production, and portion control comply with company standards.
Support daily kitchen operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
Assist in monitoring and controlling food and beverage stock levels.
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Support teamwork and contribute to the development and improvement of quality management systems.
Identify areas for improvement and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor as required.

Required Qualifications

0-1 years of experience in a culinary role.
Willingness to work shift duties as required by operational needs.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based at an airport location within Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role requires flexibility to accommodate shift work schedules to support continuous kitchen operations.
