Concierge Spa

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Concierge Spa to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing spa and beauty salon service reservations for individual guests and groups, ensuring smooth scheduling, and providing comprehensive guest support.

Key Responsibilities

• Program services for individuals and large groups using the spa or beauty salon reservation software system.
• Contact guests to confirm scheduled services and respond to inquiries about available services.
• Update reservation and cancellation lists throughout the day and inform providers of last-minute changes.
• Resolve scheduling issues as needed, collaborating with the supervisor or manager.
• Register guests upon arrival, confirm details, and provide a general spa orientation.
• Promote and sell spa or beauty salon services to guests.
• Manage cash drawer operations, including ensuring accuracy, securing change, and processing guest payments.
• Accept and record cash tips for employees, then reconcile, scan, and deliver receipts to Accounting.
• Report maintenance and repair needs to Engineering, and notify management of accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Receive and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and communicate clearly and professionally with others.
• Answer telephones using appropriate protocol and cultivate positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: None specified.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and operates within a spa or beauty salon setting, requiring direct interaction with guests and adherence to established service protocols.

Additional Duties

The Concierge Spa will also perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors to support the overall operation of the spa or beauty salon.
