Construction Supervisor

About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing daily site operations and ensuring that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedules. The successful candidate will coordinate subcontractors, supervise site teams, monitor progress, and support the timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Direct and monitor subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures.
• Ensure timely material requisitions and availability of resources to support project schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and eliminate safety hazards.
• Enforce HSE regulations and company safety policies to minimize incidents and maintain a safe working environment.
• Investigate and report site incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Supervise excavation, dewatering, shoring, and foundation works, ensuring compliance with approved methods and safety requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee construction activities including concrete works, masonry, carpentry, brickwork, backfilling, pipe laying, chamber construction, and shuttering.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Carry out progressive punch listing and ensure timely completion of outstanding works prior to project handover.
• Monitor workforce attendance, productivity, and performance.
• Conduct toolbox talks and daily pre-start meetings to promote safety awareness and effective communication.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives and contribute to incident reporting, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of construction equipment and site resources.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction supervision.
• Proven ability to oversee daily site operations and manage construction activities.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.

Required Skills

• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and supervise site teams effectively.
• Proficiency in monitoring progress and ensuring timely project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and safety policies.
• Skills in conducting site inspections and identifying safety hazards.
• Experience in supervising various construction works including excavation, concrete, masonry, and pipe laying.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with project teams, consultants, and contractors.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Construction Supervisor will be actively involved in on-site operations and coordination.
