Customer Project Manager

About the Role

Ericsson is seeking a Customer Project Manager to lead assigned customer projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring project goals are met, customer expectations are fulfilled, and customer relations are managed effectively within the contract scope. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the project plan baseline, including defining scope, securing resources, and planning and supervising all activities.
• Drive project execution by tracking activities and managing changes, conflicts, and critical issues.
• Manage project finances and ensure financial system monitoring.
• Handle customer and partner engagement, building confidence and trust, and ensuring project progress.
• Secure delivery compliance with both contractual and business case requirements.
• Mentor the project team and support their professional growth.
• Actively seek to improve top and bottom lines by managing project finances and identifying add-on-sales opportunities.
• Drive improvement activities related to risk assessments and risk management.
• Work closely with the account team during presales, responsible for contract execution strategy, cost estimations, and time and resource planning.
• Develop the business by participating in contract preparation and pre-sales meeting planning.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Project management skills acquired through training, project management experience, or other experience using project management methods.
• Experience related to project management methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Professional competence related to the project type and the nature of the project outcome.
• Experience working within the Telecom/IS/IT industry.
• Experience working with multi-national, global, decentralized organizations, with the ability to establish a good working climate in a virtual environment using phone, mail, and collaboration tools.
• Experience or knowledge in Ericsson Business Process (EBP) IT Process, ITIL, and eTOM.
