About the Data & AI Prototyping Internship

SoftwareOne is seeking a Data & AI Prototyping & Solutions Intern to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This internship is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are eager to gain hands-on experience in developing AI agents, Generative AI prototypes, and data-driven solutions. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to client engagements and internal innovation within a global IT company.

Role Overview

The Data & AI Intern will support client engagements, pre-sales activities, and the development of AI solutions. This position combines technical execution with business understanding, focusing on turning business requirements into practical Data & AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have an interest in Generative AI, AI Agents, Data Analytics, Automation, and Microsoft technologies, contributing to demos, pre-sales, and cutting-edge AI innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure AI agents and intelligent solutions utilizing Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Build AI, RAG, and automation prototypes, including AI assistants, workflow automations, API integrations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Create Power BI dashboards and perform data analysis using Excel, SQL, and Python to generate actionable insights.
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, use-case development, client presentations, and contributions to proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
• Prepare, test, and deliver technical demos and prototypes for client meetings, workshops, and business development initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into practical Data & AI solutions and prototypes, supporting technical solutioning, architecture diagrams, and effort estimation.
• Research, evaluate, and experiment with emerging AI technologies, models, and tools to drive innovation and identify new business opportunities.

Candidate Profile and Experience

This internship is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to start their career in Data & AI. Applicants should possess a strong interest in building AI agents, GenAI prototypes, RAG solutions, dashboards, and automation workflows. A foundational understanding or eagerness to learn Microsoft technologies, data analysis tools, and programming languages like Python is beneficial.
