The Chefz is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Role Purpose

The Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate sales and demand forecasts. This role involves coordinating and communicating with multiple teams to develop monthly and weekly sales forecasts, incorporating historical sales seasonality and trends to ensure optimal inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure correct inventory levels at stores by analyzing current inventory status and updating ordering parameters.
• Monitor stock movement daily and run reports on daily inventory and sales for demand forecasting.
• Maintain replenishment model parameters and ensure accurate input.
• Prepare demand forecasts, initiate orders to suppliers, and track order receipts.
• Manage relevant inventory in coordination with Account Managers.
• Ensure timely and accurate analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecasts.
• Dispatch orders to stores and ensure proper tracking.
• Liaise with suppliers to improve collaborative forecasting, planning, and replenishment.
• Ensure appropriate and accurate records of in-stock and inventory positions are maintained.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in demand forecasting and reporting.
• Ability to review customer service metrics and investigate root causes.
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and linking Google Sheets.
