Overview of the Role

Skilled Careers is partnering with a leading international contractor that specializes in major hyperscale data centre projects across the GCC. Due to ongoing growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, the company is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join its mission-critical division in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience.

Role Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the design process for large-scale data centre projects.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams, external consultants, clients, subcontractors, and construction teams.
Oversee the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience working on a live data centre project.
Demonstrated Data Centre or Mission Critical experience.
Strong background in design management and multidisciplinary coordination.
Experience coordinating Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design packages.
Main contracting experience is highly advantageous.

Work Environment and Location

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a contractor that has a significant pipeline of hyperscale data centre projects across the region. The company is open to considering candidates who are relocating to the GCC for the first time.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced data centre professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience. The company is interested in speaking with qualified individuals from Europe, the UK, APAC, USA, and other international markets.
