About WSP Middle East and the Role

WSP Middle East is seeking a Design Manager - Structural & Civil to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is focused on supporting the successful design and delivery of major development projects within a growing developer portfolio.

Role Purpose

The successful candidate will oversee structural and civil engineering design activities. The primary objective is to ensure that all engineering solutions are fully coordinated, practical, and aligned with overall project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage structural and civil engineering consultants and their design deliverables.
• Review engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate interfaces between buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and public realm elements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, risk workshops, and value engineering exercises.
• Monitor consultant performance and programme commitments.
• Support technical decision-making throughout design development.
• Coordinate engineering inputs across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Assist with tender reviews and construction support activities when required.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant structural and civil engineering design management capacity is required for this position.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
