About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Director of Commercial - Residential to lead commercial initiatives within the residential projects sector. This senior full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is central to the strategy and operations of residential developments, which are integral to the company's mission of creating a world-class entertainment, sports, and arts destination.

Role Overview

The Director will be responsible for the overall commercial governance of residential projects, from initial conception through to completion. This involves leveraging industry expertise to align operational and financial strategies, ensuring the achievement of the company's development goals while maximizing profitability and minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and execute the strategic commercial framework for all residential initiatives, aligning with Qiddiya's corporate vision.
Lead and manage a team of commercial professionals focused on procurement, contracts, and financial aspects of residential projects.
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor and contractor relationships to secure optimal outcomes for residential developments.
Oversee project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting, to ensure projects are delivered within financial targets.
Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulations, and operational standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, construction, and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, local authorities, and community groups.
Provide mentorship and professional guidance to the commercial team.

Qualifications and Requirements

A degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a relevant field is required; advanced qualifications are preferred.
A minimum of 15 years of commercial management experience in the residential property sector, with a deep understanding of the complete project lifecycle.
Strong financial acumen and expertise in contract negotiation and management.
Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully navigating cross-functional operations.
Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
