The Executive Sales Role

We are seeking an Executive Sales professional to join our full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience and focuses on maximizing revenue, maintaining guest loyalty, and providing comprehensive support to sales and marketing operations within the hotel.

Key Sales and Reservation Responsibilities

  • Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue, including up-selling, while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally.
  • Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gestures for their patronage, such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
  • Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
  • Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking guest reservations.

Guest Relations and Operational Support

  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Contact appropriate individuals or departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Professional Standards and Requirements

  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Assist management in training and motivating employees; serve as a role model.
  • Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
  • Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

Work Context

This full-time position is based at Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Executive Sales professional will perform duties as requested by Supervisors, contributing to a supportive and guest-focused environment.
