Field Application Specialist (Clinical Diagnostics)

About the Role

Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a Field Application Specialist for the Clinical Diagnostics Group. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 2-5 years of experience. The role focuses on providing technical expertise, application support, and customer training for a diverse diagnostic portfolio, with an emphasis on Quality Control products and informatics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful short-term and long-term sales results within the application area of Quality Control products and informatics solutions.
• Apply scientific expertise in field sales activities to generate new business opportunities through meetings, demonstrations, seminars, webinars, and training sessions.
• Provide field application support to customers utilizing installed instruments, collaborating with Technical Support, Service, and the Sales Team.
• Plan, perform, and follow up on sales activities to target and engage high-value customers and market segments, focusing on Key Opinion Leaders and Key Decision Makers.
• Actively maintain expert understanding of technology and applications within the area of responsibility, including sharing knowledge and training the sales team.
• Maintain basic knowledge of the full product portfolio to identify new sales opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Control, HbA1c, Hemoglobinopathies, and Autoimmune product lines.
• Good understanding of IT systems.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across cultures and with diverse functions.
• Proven track record of achieving results.
• Strategic thinking and effective negotiation skills.
• Positive attitude and collaboration skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and involves travel with overnight stays. The successful candidate will work as part of a team that includes Sales Managers and the application team in Channel Partner regions.
