About Radiometer and the Role

This Field Service Engineer position is a full-time role within the Customer Support function, located in Abha, Southern Region, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring customer excellence through technical support for Radiometer analyzers.

Role Overview and Team Structure

The Field Service Engineer serves as an external representative of Radiometer, providing expertise in product capabilities and services to customer accounts. This role is integral to building a world-class Service organization and involves direct interaction with customers to support their diagnostic equipment. The Field Service Engineer reports to the Service Team Leader W/S and operates within the Service Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and servicing of analyzers for the assigned installed base.
• Maintain tools and test equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
• Complete assigned Regulatory Field Action Notes and Technical updates within specified due dates, adhering to all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Install analyzers and conduct customer user training as required.
• Manage spare parts cycle time by accurately recording parts used on service jobs.
• Comply with company regulations, guidelines, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Upgrade operating systems and ensure devices are cybersecurity compliant.
• Perform basic IT troubleshooting for devices running Windows 7/10/11.
• Add/edit IP addresses on devices and confirm connection to Middleware or LIS/HIS/EMR.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• University graduation in biomedical engineering, mechanical/electromechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience as a field service engineer in the healthcare industry, specifically with medical and Point-of-Care (POC) devices or diagnostic equipment.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, networking/connectivity setup, and IT system upgrades.
• Basic command prompt knowledge and experience with connectivity testing of devices with middleware or LIS/HIS/EMR.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working with SQL databases, Java, and Mirth.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Tools and CRM systems.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Abha, Southern Region, Saudi Arabia, and is part of a dedicated Service Team focused on supporting Radiometer's customer base. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment to maintain and enhance service delivery.
