FP&A Analyst

About the Role

Think is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves owning the financial models that inform strategic company decisions, particularly within a hardware-centric business environment. The analyst will focus on tangible financial aspects such as bills of materials, unit economics, inventory, and working capital, rather than solely software subscription models.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the comprehensive financial model, including revenue, cost of goods, headcount, capital expenditure, and cash flow.
• Develop and maintain unit economics per SKU, ensuring accuracy as the bill of materials evolves.
• Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities, along with variance analysis to explain financial differences.
• Model working capital and inventory for a business that requires component procurement prior to invoicing.
• Prepare financial reports for board members and investors.
• Provide commercial and engineering teams with necessary analysis to support decision-making between various options.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, transaction services, or a comparable analytical role.
• Demonstrated strong financial modelling capabilities, as this constitutes a primary aspect of the role.
• Familiarity with cost of goods and inventory management, in addition to recurring revenue models.
• Possession of sound judgment to identify and flag assumptions rather than obscuring them.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in hardware, manufacturing, or deep tech industries.
• A relevant qualification, either in progress or completed.
• Startup experience where financial models required frequent adjustments.
