About the Frontend Software Engineer Role at *****

***** is expanding its front-end development team in Riyadh and is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer. This full-time position focuses on elevating the user experience by crafting elegant, responsive, and performant interfaces. The role involves close collaboration with back-end developers, product, and design teams to bring new features and ideas to life, ensuring digital products are visually compelling, intuitive, reliable, and scalable as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive user interfaces, developing reusable components and pages with **** and modern frontend tooling.
• Integrate securely with Django microservices (REST), handling asynchronous data and managing state.
• Optimize application performance, including page speed, bundle size, rendering efficiency, and Core Web Vitals.
• Test thoroughly by writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability of critical user journeys.
• Maintain design consistency by adhering to and extending a shared design system.
• Contribute to production support, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving production incidents.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, frontend, DevOps, and machine learning teams.

Required Qualifications

• A relevant engineering degree.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in software development.
• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on commercial frontend/web development experience, specifically with React or *****
• Substantial breadth and depth of frontend software development knowledge.

Technical Expertise

• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and good software architecture design principles.
• Substantial expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• A reasonable understanding of all applicable software engineering processes.
• Experience in banking or FinTech is an advantage, but not essential.

Work Environment and Compensation
