General Practitioner Role Overview

iDoc Health is seeking a General Practitioner to join its full-time clinical team in Riyadh. This role involves delivering high-quality medical care through iDoc’s digital healthcare services and established clinical workflows. The General Practitioner will be responsible for patient assessment and management, review of investigations, prescribing treatment, identifying critical signs, and arranging necessary referrals or escalations. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual medical consultations and manage common acute and chronic conditions within the scope of general practice.
• Perform clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, follow-up, and patient education.
• Identify red flags and determine when patients require urgent care, emergency escalation, specialist referral, or in-person assessment.
• Review laboratory results and other investigations, communicating findings and recommendations to patients.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with Saudi regulations, clinical guidelines, and iDoc policies.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation using iDoc’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Utilize digital and AI-assisted clinical tools while maintaining independent professional judgment and responsibility for clinical decisions.
• Participate in clinical quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with iDoc’s medical, operations, product, and technology teams to enhance the digital patient journey.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A medical degree and valid license to practice as a General Practitioner in Saudi Arabia.
• 5-10 years of clinical experience post-internship.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems and adapting to digital healthcare technologies.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills in a digital care setting.

Work Setting

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working with iDoc’s EMR and AI-assisted clinical tools, which support clinical workflows while physicians retain independent clinical judgment.
