The Operations team serves as the engine room, responsible for designing how the company functions and ensuring its increasing adoption of AI-native practices.

The Role of Head of Business Performance

The Head of Business Performance is a full-time role critical to Humain's operational efficiency and strategic execution. This position involves owning the company's business performance engine, which connects operating plans, performance metrics, and actionable insights. The primary objective is to enable the organization to identify variances to plan early and respond decisively, fostering an increasingly AI-native approach to performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with each business unit to develop annual operating plans, aligning them with the overall business plan and scorecard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage the end-to-end monthly and quarterly business review cycles.
• Lead the analysis of variance-to-plan and collaborate with teams to drive effective mitigation strategies.
• Oversee executive reporting, dashboards, and insight generation, including the preparation of a standardized weekly executive report for the CEO.
• Deploy AI agents to enhance tracking, insight generation, and reporting processes, advancing AI-native performance management.
• Operate as a player-coach, responsible for building and scaling a dedicated performance team over time.

Desired Outcomes

Success in this role will be measured by specific achievements within defined timeframes:

• Within the first 90 days, establish scorecard-aligned operating plans across every business unit and implement a standardized review cadence throughout the organization.
• By 6–12 months, ensure that performance variances are consistently identified and acted upon, provide leadership with trusted visibility into business performance, and demonstrate measurable gains from AI-native reporting solutions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in a relevant field and demonstrate the following core attributes:
