Role Overview: Health Safety Environment Engineer

2P Perfect Presentation is looking for a qualified Health Safety Environment (HSE) Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires an engineering background and 2-5 years of relevant experience. The HSE Engineer will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by identifying hazards, implementing preventive measures, and ensuring compliance with applicable Saudi regulations and international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi safety regulations, including those from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Civil Defense, and relevant industrial authorities, as well as international safety standards and frameworks.
• Conduct job safety analyses (JSA) and health risk assessments (HRA), identify workplace hazards, and implement effective control measures.
• Perform daily safety inspections and regular audits across facilities and work areas, identify unsafe practices or conditions, and ensure timely corrective action.
• Lead investigations into workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses; identify root causes; and prepare corrective and preventive action (CAPA) reports.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to strengthen safety awareness and promote the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Verify the readiness of firefighting equipment and emergency exits, support evacuation procedures, and ensure compliance with applicable Civil Defense licensing requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering is mandatory.
• Certifications: Recognized professional HSE certification, such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA safety training certification, or equivalent.
• Experience: At least four years of dedicated HSE experience, preferably in industrial, construction, or facilities environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of applicable Saudi safety regulations, Civil Defense requirements, and international occupational health and safety frameworks, including ISO 45001.
